Light in the Darkness

I believe we are in a season that the Lord is birthing many things, and this is going to involve things which have been hidden being brought out into the light.  I keep hearing the verse in Luke where Jesus says, "There is nothing hidden that will not be revealed."

This can be very frightening for some, especially if you are terrified of the hidden things in your heart being brought into the light.  I am writing this to say, do not be afraid!  The fear of exposure has kept Christians and the Church at large in bondage for far to long!

Jesus is fiercely passionate for you and He will not humiliate you.  He fights for your freedom.  I believe this is a season of invitation and birthing.  The invitation is to surrender to Him, and to allow Him to bring His perfect glowing light into the secret places of pain in your heart.

There is a verse in Ephesians that goes something like this:

"Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them . . . but all things become visible when they are exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light. For this reason it says, 'Awake, sleeper, And arise from the dead, And Christ will shine on you.'"

And here's the part that we so often miss.  Not only does His light bring healing to the dark places in your soul, BUT THE GLORY THAT HAS BEEN HIDDEN INSIDE OF YOU WILL BE RELEASED!!  There is great brightness and power inside of you that lingers, waiting, almost trapped behind the darkness.  This is the brightness that Satan has opposed and sought to keep hidden, even from you.  But now we are in the season of release.  The season of exposure.  And the season for His manifest presence to be made known to the earth!!

  1. All of creation is standing on tip-toe with baited breath, longingly looking for the manifest sons (not children) to liberate it from its imprisonment!

Can you hear it now, that glorious sound of Christ being fully formed in those sons through out the earth, wow, talk about a seismic shift happening.
